The Sunburst Camptown Football Club was in a state of shock at the passing of their junior football player Royell Ramsey last Sunday following a brief illness.

The executives and affiliates of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) extended  their condolences to the family, relatives and teammates of the former under-17 player.

According to a press release, the GFA stated that “his untimely passing has left us in a state of shock. His previous representation of Camptown enabled him to be a key team player.”

“On behalf of the GFA and affiliates, kindly accept our deepest sympathies, may his soul rest in peace,” the release said.

The club will be holding a wake this evening at the Camptown Community Centre ground commencing at 7:30pm.
