As part of their preparations for the much anticipated Ms Renaissance pageant, the delegates vying for this year’s crown will be visiting the Alpha Children’s Home in Berbice, today.

The pageant is slated for October 24 at the National Cultural Centre.

According to the organizer, Negla Brandis, the pageant serves as a catalyst to re-educate the public about the inner beauty, cultural awareness and accomplishments of the professional Guyanese woman, 28 years and older.

Every year since the inception of the pageant, delegates and organizers would visit the Alpha Children’s Home as part of their humanitarian duty.

There will also be an all-red affair event coming up in the weeks ahead.
