An unidentified man of Chinese decent was killed at Versailles, West Bank Demerara on Monday night, after he lost control of his motorbike and crashed into a bridge.
Police, in a statement yesterday, said that the fatal accident occurred around 10:00pm. Investigations have revealed that the motorcyclist was driving motor cycle CF 4366 and he reportedly lost control of the bike and crashed into the bridge. He was taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said the man had not been identified as yet.
The body is at the hospital’s mortuary.
