The Hare Krishna Movement and Nimai Pandit Study Centre are hosting their annual chariot festival Ratha-yatra on June 26th in Georgetown.
In a press release the group said the celebrations are being hosted in collaboration with Erica Shortt and family of the USA.
It will be held in on the tarmac at Merriman’s Mall, Bourda Market under the theme ‘Parading for Peace, Ecological Harmony and Spiritual Unity.”
The parade will start on Water Street and proceed through Avenue of the Republic to Brickdam then onto Croal Street through Austin Place then through Alexander Street onto Church Street ending at Merriman Mall.
The public is invited.
