This is a note to clarify aspects of a letter published in your newspaper on February 14 by Dr C Kenrick Hunte (‘GuySuCo audited accounts have not been presented in Parliament’).
The accounts of the Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc up to the end of 2008 have been laid before the National Assembly.
The 2009 accounts of the Corporation are currently being audited and will be laid before the National Assembly by June 2010.
