I would like to congratulate Mr Sylvan Gardner on his recent accomplishments at the two major international body building shows in which he participated.
The Musclemania Universe Weekend & EXPO and the International Fitness and Physique Association (IFPA) Pro Figure Show are two of the best and most competitive competitions that collectively attract over 500 US and international competitors. For Sylvan to attend both of these prestigious events and compete creditably is indeed something of which we should all be proud.
He is one of our leading bodybuilders who continues to show much dedication, determination, discipline and professionalism in the sport of bodybuilding.
To the business community and friends who made the trip possible for Sylvan to compete, I extend heartfelt thanks. I would also like to encourage the Guyanese business community to become more involved in the sport of bodybuilding and work closely with the relevant associations to promote the sport.
As Sylvan continues to grow and mature as a bodybuilder, I am very confident that he will emerge as the new leading bodybuilding ambassador of Guyana.
