A medical team will be dispatched to the Waramadong secondary school dormitory, Region 7 to undertake medical examinations in light of two reported ‘pox like’ cases, according to the Government Information Agency.
Director of Regional Health Services Dr Narine Singh told GINA today that an incident was brought to the attention of the Community Health Worker at Waramadong, and after examination the student was deferred to Georgetown as the patient exhibited chicken pox-like symptoms mixed with viral infection.
