Sophia man shot

At about 2320h. yesterday, police say that Jermaine Peters, of Sophia, Georgetown, was shot by person (s) unknown.

Investigations revealed from his mother, Karen John that her son left home to buy a phone card, when she heard an explosion. On checking, he saw him lying on the parapet infront of their home with gunshot wound. He was taken to the GPHC, where he was admitted, police said.
