The Guyana Trades Union Congress and the Guyana Public Service Union today announced that they will be holding a joint press conference tomorrow
The press conference will be held at the GPSU’s Headquarters, 160 Regent & Shiv Chanderpaul Drive, Bourda at 12:00 hrs.
A release from the GPSU said that the press conference “shall address common areas of concern as it pertains to good governance, free collective bargaining, social and economic justice.”
The press conference may signal closer coordination between the umbrella GTUC and the main public service union who have had uneasy relations in recent years.
