Airy Hall pedestrian dies after hit by lorry

The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on December 12, 2013, and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Narine, 54 years, of Airy Hall, Essequibo Coast.

Investigations revealed that Narine was walking along the Airy Hall Public Road, when he was struck down by a motor lorry that was in the process of overtaking another vehicle.

He was admitted to the Suddie Public Hospital where he succumbed at about 0430h today.
