Part of the clean-up effort, organised last Sunday by animal rights activist Syeada Manbodh and friends at the back of the Botanical Gardens with the help of volunteers from Neal and Massy. It resulted in 30 large bags of plastic, Styrofoam and other waste being removed from the canal that is used by manatees.
