Greenwich Park pedestrian dies in accident

The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2005h last night on the main road at Greenwich Park, EBE, and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Mohan Lall, 57 years, of Greenwich Park.

Police say that investigations have revealed that Lall is alleged to have attempted to cross the roadway and was struck down by a mini-bus. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital.

The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
