The police say that investigations are being conducted into the murder of Lloyda Thomas, 20 years, of Sunflower Clove, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, which occurred at about 2230h. last night at Versailles, WBD.
Investigations, police say, have been revealed that Lloyda Thomas was involved in an argument with another female during which she was stabbed to her abdomen and head with a broken bottle. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
