Internet service now activated

Dear Editor,

We thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr Sarius’s letter published on April 14, in which he complained about the “unsatisfactory service” he experienced while attempting to activate his internet service (‘Can’t get GT&T to install internet service,’ SN, April 14).

Management wishes to sincerely apologize for the quality of service Mr Sarius received and wishes to reassure our customers that Mr Sarius’s experience is not in keeping with our policy and mandate to provide the highest level of customer service. We are pleased to inform you that Mr Sarius’s internet service has since been activated. We also contacted Mr Sarius directly offering our apology for the delay in the provisioning of his service.

We again encourage our customers that should they have any customer related issue to bring these to our attention by writing to gttpr@gtt.co.gy.

Yours faithfully,
Nadia De Abreu
