Error in lotto number published

Dear Editor,

I was up Berbice on 2007-10-08 where I went into the lotto office in New Amsterdam, I think it was Charlotte Street, to collect the numbers for the daily millions plus on 2007 – 10 – 06.

The Clerk there wrote down these numbers namely 8,9,12,22 and 23. I have the paper that she wrote down the numbers. On my way to Georgetown I was reading the Stabroek News when I realized that the one number varied from what I got from the clerk, No. 27.

Many persons including myself could have been misled due to receiving incorrect numbers. Is it only when we look at the drawing on TV that we can be sure of the lotto numbers?

Yours faithfully,

Richard Duke
