GT&T promises its customers a “Christmas Bonanza full of cash, gifts and cool services” through a number of promotions it is hosting this month.
The company said its biggest promotion, the ‘Cash in the Booth’ will allow customers to win millions of dollars. Customers who top-up with $500 or more and those who purchase the company’s handsets will be issued coupons that will allow them to enter the “onsite” in order to be selected for one of five half hourly trips into the Cash Cube. The company said the Cash Cube is going on a 12-stop tour of Guyana where the company will be hosting a mobile fair which will feature “fun activities, great offers on the latest and best in Cellink Plus handsets and accessories.”
In the ‘Top up and Watch’ promotion both pre and post-paid customers with one year or more continuous active service are automatically entered into the drawing of the Cellink Lottery aired nightly. Customers are urged to tune in to see if they have been selected for the grand prize of one flat-screen television or other prizes such as a fourth-generation gaming console (Nintendo Wii or X-Box 360), an I-Pod Touch or other cutting edge gadgets.
Additionally GT&T’s ‘Call Home Guyana’ promotion allows persons with relatives and friends in North America to call Guyana with calling cards that come in two denominations US$5 and US$10. These cards give 22 and 50 minutes of talk-time respectively. To use these cards customers in the US must dial 1-877-848-9262 or 1-877-GUYANA, enter a PIN number printed on the card when prompted then dial 0011-592 followed by the local number. GT&T also said the cards are also available for sale locally and its customers can buy them and email the PIN to relatives in the US to participate in offer.
The company said its subscribers can continue to benefit by participating in its ‘Mo Talk Promotion’ with 50% on recharges over $500. Customers also benefit from free weekend talk in the promotion where they earn matching free talk time for talking for over two hours during the weekdays.
