The occasion was the National Education Awards Ceremony held at the National Cultural Centre yesterday.Vickram Deonarine of Anna Regina Secondary receiving his award yesterday for being one of the top junior secondary performers from Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Pulandar Kandhi. The other awardees in this category were Rahul Lall and Yashoda Narine also of Anna Regina Secondary.Yogeeta Persaud of CV Nunes Primary was one of three students who received awards yesterday for topping the National Grade Six Assessment.
