The National Association of Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Employees (NAACIE) says the passing of former president Janet Jagan has left Guyana poorer.

In a press release NAACIE said Mrs Jagan had always been a beacon of light when representing issues on workers’ and women’s behalf. It said too she had lived a full life. NAACIE extended condolences to the executive and members of the PPP on her passing.
