A 29-year-old man was shot dead at Sixth and Light streets, Alberttown tonight.
Nicholas Hoyte is said to have suffered seven gunshot wounds in a drive-by shooting. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Hospital.
The murder comes amid a spate of gun crimes. On Friday, another man, Vibert Weekes was gunned down on Robb Street. He was reportedly shot 14 times. (More later)
