Climate change is not man made and has little to do with the release of co2 gases

Many scientists say, that the claim that co2 gases is the cause of climate change, is the biggest scam perpetrated on mankind within the last 100 years.

A  new survey provides undeniable proof that the world is being sold a lie on climate change by a group of politicians and elite lobbyists who wish to seize on the opportunity to hype the global warming threat and use it as a means of social manipulation for political and corporate gain.

The group which is promoting the claim that climate change is man made, is so wealthy, powerful and influential, that they successfully block the truth from being known, and accuse all the hundreds of scientists, from all over the world, who say it is the increased heat of the sun that is causing climate change, of being paid to say so, by the oil companies.

Your excellency President Jagdeo, we believe that the failure of Copenhagen, was mainly due to  many countries secretly knowing that  co2 gases was not the cause of climate change, while others had their doubts, regardless of the so called  consensus reached, which was agreed that co2 gases was the cause of climate change. Do not let the consensus fool you, as it seems to be fooling a lot of people. It is extremely important for some countries to make sure that the world believes that co2 is the culprit, and not caused by the increase in the sun’s heat. We fail to understand the monster power of super politics.

The most unfortunate and dangerous situation we face today, is that it is in the interest of almost every country, for one reason or another,  to blame climate change on the release of co2 gases, instead of the sun, because there is not one cent to get if they tell the truth that the sun is the cause, but if they say that climate change is caused from the release of co2 gases, hundreds of billions of dollars, will continue to be made available to hundreds of scientific organisations, to scores of countries all over the world, while some powerful countries will get to control the economics, and sometimes the politics of many developing countries, especially those which have forests and minerals, and more so, those which have minerals under the trees in the forest, like Guyana.

The reason that Guyana may never get any very large sums of money under the LCDS programme, at least never to compensate for the miniaturizing of the gold and diamond mining and logging industries, and the disastrous financial and human “fallout”, which will follow,  is because the super thinkers of major powerful rich countries secretly know that climate change, is not due to the release of co2, greenhouse gases, etc, but know it is caused by the increased heating of the sun, at this period, where they know that nothing could be done about it, but hope and pray.

Guyana will get money every now and again to help the country, but nothing to compensate for the loss of billions of us dollars in revenue, the massive increase in unemployment and subsequent enormous crime wave, if government continued its drive to implement unnecessary economic death, mining conditions, which some were dictated to us by developed countries, and which they cleverly call “standards” (clever weapons)to purposely take its toll and miniaturize the small and medium scale gold and diamond mining and timber industries.

The peoples of the black world (of under-developed and developing countries) seem incapable of understanding and recognizing the real motives of the white world (developed countries) and quickly accept everything they say and easily succumb to their dictates. We only have ourselves to blame for us being taken advantage of especially in areas of critical national importance. Professor Thomas said ‘if  Norway is able to get away with huffing (stealing) our “pristine forest” for  a bargain basement price, the blame is ours. We cannot blame Norway for cheating us. We allowed ourselves to be cheated: ( sn 13-12-09) Professor Thomas said that “Guyana cannot emerge out of suffocating poverty by trading its “pristine forests” for a pittance.” To those who believe my observations on norway have been harsh, my answer is that they are all factually based (sn 20-12-09)

Lying that climate change is man made, and caused by co2 gases, instead of telling the truth that the reduction of co2 gases, would not stop climate change, and that it is the excessive heating of the sun, in relation to the earth, at this period of the earth’s existence, (a)  poses a great injustice (denying development) and (b) poses terrible dangers ( underwater explosions etc) to their peoples of many countries with below sea level areas, by the following.

A ) injustice –developing countries like Guyana which have forests, are told not to cut down their trees, denying them the development of their rich timber industries, and worse yet, countries that have very rich mineral resources under the forest trees, again like Guyana, are also denied the development of their rich mineral resources.

B ) dangers –countries that have areas below sea level like Guyana, instead of warning them to either build massive sea defenses or move their vulnerable population to live on a higher area in the country, instead do nothing, with the results that, people do not move to higher ground, while it is compounded that more continue to build in these vulnerable areas, with the possibility that we will see erratic climate change, that will cause underwater explosions, that could see waves higher than 30 feet, causing the deaths of thousands of people, along their low coastlands.

31,478 American scientists, including 9,021 with phd’s have signed a petition stating that global warming is a farce:

700+ international scientists dissent over man-made global warming claims:

The over 700 dissenting scientists are now more than 13 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media-hyped IPCC 2007 summary for policymakers. The 59 additional scientists hail from all over the world, including Japan, Italy, UK, Czech Republic, Canada, Netherlands, the US. And many are affiliated with prestigious institutions including, NASA, U.S. navy, u.s. defense department, energy department, u.s. air force, the Philosophical Society of Washington (the oldest scientific society in Washington), Princeton University, Tulane University, American University, Oregon State University, U.S. Naval Academy and EPA.

What happened to global warming?

This headline above may come as a bit of a surprise, so too might that fact that the warmest year recorded globally was not in 2008 or 2007, but in 1998. But it is true.

For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.

And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.   So what on earth is going on?

Climate change sceptics, who passionately and consistently argue that man’s influence on our climate is overstated, say they saw it coming.    During the last few decades of the 20th century, our planet did warm quickly.

Sceptics argue that the warming we observed was down to the energy from the sun increasing.  After all, 98% of the earth’s warmth comes from the sun.  (excerpt from bbc news)

“cover up” fact: in a 1996 report by the un on global warming, two statements were deleted from the final draft. Here they are:

1) “none of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can attribute the observed climate changes to increases in greenhouse gases.”

2) “no study to date has positively attributed all or part of the climate change to man–made causes

Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called “consensus” on man-made global warming.  These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (intergovernmental panel on climate change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former vice president Al Gore.

The new report issued by the senate environment and public works committee’s office of the GOP ranking member details the views of the scientists, the overwhelming majority of whom spoke out in 2007.

If scientists and their organisations say that global warming is not man made, but caused by the increase in the sun’s heat, they will cease to receive any funding, and would be termed crazy, as there is no money to be made, since there is absolutely nothing that could be done to change this situation, but to pray that the sun’s heat is reduced, and to move people to higher ground. However  if scientists and their organisations say that global warming is man made, and caused by co2 gases, they will continue to receive billions of us dollars yearly in funding, as there are tremendous opportunities to make a fortune, while some powerful countries see it as a weapon and the opportunity to control other countries politics and or economics.  Leaders of some, especially developing countries are so naïve, plus they have no technology of their own to test for the truth, that they quickly fall prey to the dictates of the rich and powerful countries, who quickly take advantage of them..

And while the media usually find mavericks at least entertaining, in this case they often imagine that anyone who doubts the hypothesis of man-made global warming must be in the pay of the oil companies. As a result, some key discoveries in climate research go almost unreported.

Definitive proof: the majority of scientists do not support man made warming theory.

Survey of peer reviewed studies reveals less than 50% of published scientists believe global warming is man made.

More skeptics than advocates among scientific community while ipcc claim majority endorse the theory .

Schulte’s survey confirms the claim that the climate change momentum has shifted among prominent scientists who are now benefiting from a greater depth of research. A spate of new research papers has significantly chilled fears of global warming..

Mars melt hints at solar, not human, cause for warming, scientist says”

Global warming of earth and mars at the same time indicates that it is the increased heat of the sun that is the cause.

Simultaneous warming on earth and mars suggests that our planet’s recent climate changes have a natural—and not a human-induced—cause, according to one scientist’s controversial theory.

Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of space research at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo astronomical observatory in russia, says the mars data is evidence that the current global warming on earth is being caused by changes in the sun.

“the long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both earth and mars,” he said.

All planets experience a few wobbles as they make their journey around the sun. Earth’s wobbles are known as Milankovitch cycles and occur on time scales of between 20,000 and 100,000 years.

The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both earth and mars,” he said.

Solar cycles.  Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun’s heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets. Mars and earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

“man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance,” Abdussamatov said. By studying fluctuations in the warmth of the sun, Abdussamatov believes he can see a pattern that fits with the ups and downs in climate we see on earth and mars.

If the sun continues to increase its energy/ heat on earth, especially directing excessive rays at the north pole, we could  see catastrophic events, here in Guyana, and all over the world.

Does Guyana need money for climate change. The answer is yes.

But the money must mainly be used to buy and install scores of giant high capacity pumps, build higher and stronger sea defenses and/or to relocate the lower coastland population to higher ground.

Miners are not damaging the environment

We also pray that any and all of those people, who are regularly saying and writing that mining is damaging the environment, to explain in detail what they mean by mining is damaging the environment.

As was said before, if a few miners act indiscriminately in mining, you cannot blame the thousands of miners and the entire mining industry, in the same way you cannot blame or accuse the entire GDF or GPF, for being all criminals, because a few ranks act criminally.

One may very well find that their accusations that miners are damaging the environment, is caused by their a)  dislike for the miners, through jealousy, which unfortunately has been around /rampant for ages now, b) their lack of knowledge of where our miners carry out alluvial mining,  especially in the areas where there are mostly non economic type trees, c) the fast regeneration of trees after mining, because of the almost year round wet conditions, d) the massive financial returns per acre worked, the massive financial returns to the miners, and to the thousands of their workers and their families, e) the massive fc earnings for Guyana, which are more than sugar, rice and timber put together, the massive revenue to government agencies like the GRA/GGB, and the GGMC, the latter where government, a few months ago, and not for the first time, took G$ one billion dollars from GGMC’s surplus to be used in areas, outside of the areas that would directly benefit our small and medium scale miners, from whom the money came from, in the first place, in an industry where our miners have every right to develop and exploit, of course in a reasonably caring way, for the benefit of over a hundred thousand persons directly and the whole of Guyana indirectly..

How many persons in Guyana know that the entire financial existence of the GGMC, since its inception in 1989, was totally done (financed ) by miners’ payments, while the bauxite industry never paid one cent to GGMC in land rents or royalties from bauxite sales.

The unjustified enforcement of the reclamation bond and the two new mining conditions, which the hon prime minister is planning to introduce would bring economic “sudden death” to over 99% of our small & medium scale miners, and all those miners who think they could survive, had better have at least 25-50 million dollars saved and put up, with no debt, that would cause them to lose, their mortgaged properties, or machinery assets, during the shut down period which could last six (6) months.

A) land reclamation bond.  This monetary bond for miners working ‘claims”, which is $25,000.00 for each claim you work, and if don’t fill back, kiss your money goodbye, and you have to find another $25,000.00 if you want to work another claim, and although Mr. Woolford said that it is a measly $25,000.00, he would be surprised to know how this same small amount is sometimes hard for those poor people to find.

Now miners with permit areas, have to deposit $200.000.00, and the same applies, if you don’t do land reclamation, your money is gone. And if you work on 7 mining permits, for the whole year, and you don’t do reclamation, it means one million, four hundred thousand dollars is gone.

We have repeatedly said that GGMC should make available, 1% of their revenue from their  royalty charges on gold, to assist especially smaller miners to pay for reclamation.

B) exploration before mining –this condition  would require miners to stop mining, acquire a drill rig, by importation, since there are no drills you could buy in Guyana, import expatriate drillers from some overseas countries, at an astronomical cost, drill in difficult alluvial sub surface conditions, where there are rock boulders, and lots of dead wood, which would make it a nightmare, and almost impossible to recover proper samples.  The miner would then take the samples to have them assayed for gold content, and then take the results to GGMC for approval to mine. If the GGMC thinks the results are not economical, the miner has to go and start drilling all over again, in another area, until he gets the results, which the GGMC would allow him to mine the area, or until his money is finished, meanwhile his family may have to live on one meal a day.

C ) 6 months notice before miners could mine.  This is the mother of all weapons/ “instant economic death”  miners will have to stop mining, and give 6 months written notice as per the following  dictate

“every miner must give written notice of at least 6 months, via the GGMC to the GFC of any cutting down of any tree, and such cutting shall not be proceeded with, until GFC would have granted, its no objection to the GGMC”

One of the problems facing a lot of our miners, is that many of them have mortgaged their home properties, to finance the purchase of, mining machinery like excavators, engines, pumps etc, and if certain regulations are enforced and new ones introduced, many are likely to lose those properties, while many miners could have their machinery re possessed and lose all the money they have already paid down to commercial banks, and also to equipment and machinery financing firms who have given miners hundreds of millions of dollars in machinery credit.

The hon prime minister is a very intelligent person and he must know in his heart, that it would mean the complete end of mining, by over 95% plus, of our small and medium scale miners, with the introduction of new mining conditions, like

(a) exploration drilling before mining in the difficult conditions, to recover samples from the alluvial mining fields,

(b) the latest instant death mining weapon “6 months wait to get permission to mine”

Both the above conditions b and c are not in any mining law or regulation, and are new weapons, purposely being implemented to quickly rid the interior of the majority of our miners.

Scale showing miners’ financial survival strength from poorer miners (left) increasing to financially stronger miners (right)

i_____20 %________i_______70%____________i______98%____________i

land reclamation & financial bond i      exploration drilling before mining        i 6 months wait to get permission to mine.

Scale above shows approximately what percentage of miners will go out of business/mining, a little while after enforcement and implementation , to instant economic death as regards to the 6 months wait to get permission to mine.

Some statisitics as regards to the 4% accumulated areas being requested, and the slow pace of mining.

The majority of mining operations are not done in the entire forested area, as gold and diamond gravel bearing alluvial mining could only be found in the lower land levels of mainly previously old river bed areas. You could fly over the forest for hours before you see a mined area. Miners are requesting to be allowed to mine in an accumulated total area of 4% of the forested area which is equivalent to 625,000 hectares or 1,560,000 acres.

A ) it takes 1 year for our small and medium scale gold and diamond miners to mine far less than 10,000 acres or 0.0256% of the forest area, yearly

B) it will take 39 years at 10,000 acres a year, for our miners to work an accumulated area of only 1%  or 390,000 acres of the requested 4% of the total forest area of 39 million acres,.

C)  it will take 26 years at 15,000 acres a year, for our miners to work an accumulated area of only 1%  or 390,000 acres of the requested 4% of the total forest area of 39 million acres,.

D)  it will take 104 years at 15,000 acres a year, for our miners to work an accumulated area of only the requested 4% or 1,560,000 acres of the total forest area of 39 million acres.

E)  it will take 52 years at 30,000 acres a year, for our miners to work an accumulated area of only the requested 4% or 1,560,000 acres of the total forest area of 39 million acres.  It will take 31 years at 50,000 acres a year to work 4% or 1,560,000 acres.

After the first year of mining, the regeneration of trees in the mined out areas, will see trees in almost all areas grow to an average height of between 5ft and 10ft, increasing in height yearly.  We are sure that our miners will not be opposed to helping in the replanting of some of the mined out areas, with economic type trees, supplied by any government agency.

And please remember again, that the environment is about everything, not the uneconomic trees alone, while the principal environmental damage in a country, is the massive poverty of our people.

Mr. President, it will be a win win situation for everybody, if you would only listen to us, and grant our small and medium scale gold & diamond miners, (not large scale foreign) the requested small 4% total accumulated exemption areas, to continue to do direct mining, in a tiny yearly accumulated area of just 0.0256 % of the forest area, while achieving the following

A)  producing between 350 million and 650 million us dollars in fc earnings yearly in gold and diamond sales,

B)  paying billions of dollars in revenue to the GGMC, GRA, GGB etc, which could see a revenue of us175 to us 200 million dollars,

in a five year period, by only royalty and taxes to the GGMC, GRA.

C ) employing 1/3 of Guyana’s working population, and therefore generally, automatically and substantially reducing crime and the prostitution of our young women folk, which the latter sometimes called “trafficking in humans” could become very embarrassing, and Guyana’s accusers of the government not doing enough to stop the trafficking in humans, will be the same judas countries that are now trying to under develop Guyana’s vast lucrative timber and mineral resources, by the introduction of clever UN workable mining conditions.

We pray that it is not too late for president Jagdeo to stop and think, whether he is not making a colossal mistake, that he will regret for the rest of his life by the massive under development of our rich mineral and timber industries, generated by the biggest scam known to mankind, which is the lies that co2 gases are causing climate change, when it is the increased heat from the sun that is the cause.

We wish to explain to all our miners, in more detail what we mean by our request to his excellency president Jagdeo for an exemption of 4% of 39 million acres, which is equal to 1,560,000 acres, of accumulated mined or worked acreage, for our miners to do direct mining.

A1 )  small, medium and large scale Guyanese miners, (not foreign owned) could work anywhere, wherever minerals of any type could be found, in the forested  area, which has a total acreage of 39 million acres.

A2 )  large scale foreign owned companies would normally have to separately negotiate with the GGMC,anyhow.

B )   miners could work in alluvial or hard rock mining conditions, anywhere in the forested area.of 39 million acres. Hard rock mining necessitates less felling of trees, since it normally goes downwards.

C )   all the areas mined or worked  in the entire forested area, which is comprised of 39 million acres, between 1st January to the 31st December 2010, will be added up.

D )   if the total added up areas mined all over Guyana, within the 39 million acres, for this year 2010, is 9,600 acres, that amount will be subtracted from  the 1,560,000 acres

e )  this will leave a balance of 1,550,400 acres, subtracting each years total, until the  balance is zero. Acres,

f )  it will take 156 years to work out the area of 1,560,000 acres (1,560,000 divided by an average of 10,000 acres yearly, is equal to 156 years).

if by some miracle or magic, we could mine 40,000 acres a year it would still give us  39 years to mine out the area of 1,560,000 acres.

And don’t forget re generation of trees will be fast and furious, after every year of mining, when no space in the canopy could be seen from the air.

We do not need to ask his excellency President Jagdeo for more than 4 % or 1,560,000 acres as an exempt accumulative total area to work/mine, within the entire forested area of Guyana of 39 million acres, including the existing Amerindian community area of 14% of the forested area.

If the Amerindian community areas are to be left out, then we would need a slightly higher percentage area (4.5% of 34 m acres = 1,530,000 acres) to secure the same approx. Minimum of 1,560,000 acres, from 34-35 million acres. (14% excluded).

We do believe that an accumulative area of between 1,560,000  and 1,600,000 acres, is enough acreage for our miners to mine, for the next 50 plus years, and keeping it to a measly 4%, one would find it completely unjustifiable, in light of financial loses and social degradation, and totally impossible for our president to find an excuse, not to grant us, unless the entire forest was already sold.

Mr. President, the area we are requesting is so small, that it could never hinder your LCDS programme, and if external forces are still insisting that you cannot give our miners that small concession, then that is a very serious and tragic situation,  and tantamount to interfering with our sovereignty.

This ad is placed as an informative tool and is also dedicated towards helping to save the thousands of our less financially strong small and medium scale gold and diamond miners, whose numbers total more than 95% of all miners, from their impending economic death in mining by sensitizing President Jagdeo to a terrible mistake he could be making and the disastrous consequences this may cause by the enforcement of old and new uncalled for, impossible to economically survive mining conditions… This 5-page document had to be placed as an advertisement, since it was too lengthy to be considered as a letter.

We want to let everyone know that we firmly believe that any drive to rid the forest of loggers and miners, has absolutely nothing to do with any serious environmental issues. The “6 month wait” is absolute proof of that.

Miners are not damaging the environment, at least in most circumstances not permanently, as there is fast re-generation of the forest in mined areas. While we are against those miners who allow dirty water to flow in rivers where people live near-by, that is curable, you don’t shut down an industry, because of some infringement by a few miners.

In every industry there will always be some negative effects eg:

The sugar industry is spraying toxic chemicals on the cane, and after rain or release of water, those chemicls find their way, along the trenches, where people sometimes drink the water, and most times use it to cook and wash, while animals like cattle, sheep and goats drink the contaminated water.

The gpl power plants, and the bauxite plants emit through their chimneys, heavy toxic metals into the surrounding areas where people live and the fish caught, especially in the Demerara river and offshore, is seriously contaminated.

The waste dumps all over Guyana release poisonous chemicals, especially thousands of pounds of mercury yearly, which is dumped in scores of mercury contaminated items, like fluorescent light tubes and switches. When those dumps are on fire, the mercury rises, and is carried in the wind and deposited anywhere and everywhere. Are not the people in region 4 etc not similarly important as our miners and brothers who live in the interior where the high water ratio is helpful in cancelling many negative effects?

Yours faithfully
