Police on the Essequibo Coast are investigating the murder of a 40-year-old woman who was found in a pool of blood.
A police release today said that Nandanie Narine, 40, was found with wounds to her face and head in her unsecured home on Friday at around 4 pm. She lived with her husband in an unfinished house and was last seen at 8.30 am. Two persons are in custody, the police said.
