The Guyana Defence Force today issued bulletins for 103 deserters.
The bulletins said that the individuals – including 10 women – have deserted from the army. It called on employers countrywide to take note since the individuals can be arrested at any time. The order was issued by Chief of Staff of the Guyana Defence Force, Commodore Gary Best.
The bulletins were placed only in the Guyana Chronicle and the Guyana Times apparently in keeping with the government’s policy of favouring those two media houses.
