Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs being buried today

(Jamaica Gleaner) – The body of the late Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs will be laid to rest today following the funeral at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.

Yesterday the viewing of the body took place at the sports centre.

The funeral began at 10 a.m. with a one hour musical tribute from some of the biggest acts in Reggae music, including, Shaggy, Etana, George Nooks, Judie Mowatt, Nexus Choir featuring Mavado, and Freddie McGregor.

Isaacs will be buried at Dovecot following the funeral service dubbed ‘Red Rose for Gregory’.
