The Police today said they are probing a robbery that occurred at around 1.30 am at Engineering Construction Inc, Friendship, EBD where a gang of bandits escaped with a safe containing $472,000 plus other items.
The police said the two watchmen on the premises were attacked by a gang of seven, four of whom were armed with guns.
According to a police release the two watchmen were in the building when the bandits stormed the premises, held them at gunpoint and tied them up.
The bandits then took away tools including drills, saws and sanding machines along with the safe.
