The commander said that the teenagers were in an apparent relationship and wanted to be married but this was opposed by relatives.

A police release this afternoon said that around 6 am they were found hanging in an abandoned building at Uitvlugt Pasture. The police said that investigations so far showed that the two shared a relationship “but were believed to having parental disagreements”. They were last seen at their respective homes on Monday and Sunday last.

Post-mortem examinations are to be done.
