The police are probing an armed robbery on Yang Xan, 35 years of Better Hope, East Coast Demerara, which occurred at about 9.45 last night by two men armed with handguns.
Investigations revealed that the victim was closing the Flower City Chinese Restaurant when he was confronted by the two men.
The police said that the perpetrators then took away $150,000 from a drawer along with three laptop computers and a camera and escaped.
During the incident Yang Xan was hit in his face and head by one of the men.
He was treated at the GPHC for his injuries and sent away.
