No.63 Village labourer fatally chopped

A 45-year-old labourer of No. 63 Village, Corentyne died after he was found with chop wounds about his body in the ‘Kali’ temple building at No. 64 Village around 7:15 pm on Tuesday.

Guydat Narine Joseph called ‘Reuben’ was rushed to the Skeldon Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police sources told Stabroek News that Joseph’s father, Krissendeo Chunilall, 65, went to the temple to “do his devotion” and found him bleeding profusely and groaning in pain.

He rushed Joseph to the hospital where he died at around 8:45 pm while receiving treatment.
