(De Ware Tijd) — More and more Brazilians suffering from Hansen’s disease are reporting to the Dermatology Service of the health ministry. Registration of new cases shows that especially among the Brazilian gold miners there is an increasing trend. According to Dermatologist Leslie Sabajo, head of the Dermatology Service, Suriname will have to consider the negative effects on our healthcare in general of a possible increase in the movement of persons between the two countries.
