Guyanese biker dies in Antigua crash

Guyanese motorcycle rider Ryan Perreira died in Antigua after he lost control at the corner of Simone Boulevard Main Road and Fitzroy Road on Thursday.

According to the Caribarena website, the 28-year-old man had reportedly been heading west at high speed on the multi-coloured motorbike, and ran into a utility pole on the western side of the road at about 8:30 pm.

“He sustained multiple injuries to his body, and was taken to the hospital, but succumbed about an hour later. There were no registration plates on the motorcycle. The crash happened near the Good Shepherd Anglican Church”, the report said.
