(De Ware Tijd) — The government is working on making the visa policy more lenient. Among others a tourist-card is being prepared. According to Foreign Affairs (BUZA) Minister Winston Lackin there will be a situation whereby arriving passengers can obtain a tourist-card at the airport for a certain tariff, allowing them to enter the country. In doing so, the security aspect will not be lost sight of. Lackin does not think the current visa policy stimulates tourism and attracts foreign investors.
