Dominica and US sign anti-drug pact

(BBC) Dominica and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly tackle the problem of drug trafficking.

Officials from the US Embassy in Barbados were in Roseau yesterday to initial the agreement with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.

Mr Skerrit said Dominica and its neighbours required assistance in a sustained manner to help them prevent the use of their territorial waters and airspace in the trade and trafficking of illegal drugs.
