The Alliance For Change is to picket the Office of the President tomorrow over the firing of an employee.
Marcel Joseph was fired earlier this month after it was believed that she was behing the leaking of confidential documents.
In a statement today, the AFC said it will mount a peaceful picket at 11.30 am at OP.
“This protest action is being called to register our disapproval of the arbitrary sacking of Technical Research Officer in the Office of the President Marcel Joseph.
“The AFC believes that the manner in which this matter was handled reeks of authoritarianism. The AFC is of the view that in a democratic state, such draconian measures not buttressed by any serious investigation should receive widespread public condemnation”, the statement said.
