Virgin Islands police treating death of Guyanese as suspicious

Police on the British Virgin Islands say they are treating the death of Guyanese national Jerome Gurdayal as suspicious, according to VI Platinum News.

According to VI Platinum News, the Police Information Office stated that members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police (RVIPF) are investigating the death of the Guyanese man.
The body of  Gurdayal, 42, who lived on Virgin Gorda was found in his apartment in Handsome Bay yesterday.
The report said that the Police stated that they are treating the circumstances surrounding his death as suspicious and unexplained.

Arrangements are being made for a post-mortem, the information office said.
