At about 9.15 pm yesterday, businessman Gregory Lewis, 55 years of Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown, was attacked and robbed of his gold jewellery, cell phone and $30,000 by a man armed with a handgun.
Police say that investigations revealed that Lewis was disembarking from his vehicle when he was confronted by the perpetrator who held him at gun point and relieved him of the articles. During the process the perpetrator discharged a round after which he escaped.
