Boy in critical condition after Enmore fire

A three-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was badly burnt in a fire at Enmore, East Coast Demerara this morning.

Tony Ramlogan is presently receiving treatment at the Georgetown Hospital.

The child was reportedly asleep in the house at Lot 7 Blossom Scheme at the time the blaze erupted in a bedroom.

Quick work by neighbours saved the house from destruction. The bedroom and its contents however were destroyed.

His father Timmy told this newspaper that he received a message about the fire and upon arrival at his house his badly burnt son was handed over to him.

The shaken man said that the doctor told him that Tony was in a critical state.
