A 33-year-old Friendship man is now dead after he is suspected of having fallen off the side of a koker sustaining fatal injuries in the process.
The dead man is Samuel Victor Jnr and his body was discovered at about 5.30 pm on Friday afternoon in a body of water, a relative told this newspaper.
The man’s sister, Onicka Victor said that when his body was found he was bleeding from his nose and there was also a whitish substance. She said that there was no evidence of marks of violence.
The man, Onicka said, would go to the spot regularly and “lime” with his friends. Victor was once employed as a cane farmer, but he stopped working after he became sick. However, up to when he died, he was in good health.
His remains are currently at the Lyken’s Funeral Home.
