I had written to you concerning being pushed around by NIS. My letter was published by Stabroek News on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the end of your letter you stated that you would be sending a copy of my letter to Miss Diane Baxter-Lewis – the PRO at NIS for any comment which she might wish to make.
One week after you published my letter a nurse from NIS visited me at my house at Montrose and went through the details of my complaint. At the completion of that she explained that she would contact me by telephone in a few days time. She did contact me and arranged for me to meet the appeal tribunal. I met the tribunal and explained my case. A decision was made in my favour while I waiting outside.
I must therefore thank you, Editor, for publishing my letter which resulted in a decision in my favour.
