Local department store, Ashmin’s, is the latest Guyanese company to enter the world of e-commerce and cash-less transactions. The company is offering persons, here and overseas, the option of making purchases, using gift certificates/cards or personal select gift baskets. Either can be purchased locally or from overseas using Ashmin’s website. Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard or PayPal banking services. Customers can arrange to have purchases picked up or delivered countrywide. Minimum purchases are US$25 or $5000 for gift certificates and $1,000 for gift baskets. Gift certificates may be used at any of the Ashmin’s franchises and at the Splashmins Resort.
