Police say that at about 0200h today, ranks of a mobile police patrol at Lethem were alerted by the sound of a gunshot in the vicinity of a night spot. On checking a man was found with an unlicensed 9mm pistol with seven matching rounds.
He has been arrested and charges will be made shortly
