(Jamaica Gleaner) The Jamaican trio of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sherone Simpson and Veronica Campbell Brown has advanced to the semi-finals of the women’s 200m.
Simpson who ran in heat three was placed third in 22.97.
Campbell-Brown clocked 22.75 to end in third position in heat five while Fraser Pryce ran 22.71 in heat six to qualify for the next round.
