Fraser-Pryce wins silver in 200M

(Jamaica Gleaner) Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has won silver medal in the 200m final in a personal best 22.09 at the London Olympics.

Fraser Pryce was early off the curve with her compatriot Veronica Campbell Brown.

But they were chased by Americans Allyson Felix and Carmelita Jeter.

Felix won in 21.88.

Jeter was third in 22.14.

Campbell-Brown who finished fourth in 22.38 was looking to win a record third consecutive gold medal in the event.
