Police say that at about 0230h today, the building used by the Region 10 Farmers Association at Christianburg, Wismar, was completely destroyed by fire.
The Guyana Fire Service fire tenders were unable to get to the scene of the fire owing to blockages along the roadway.
Investigations are in progress.
Around 10 buildings have been burnt down in the last two days following unrest related to the blocking of roads in and out of Linden.
