Police say that at about 1900h yesterday, businessman Albadar, 47 years, of Vigilance North, ECD, and his reputed wife Reshma Bisnauth had just arrived home in their motor vehicle and as they were about to exit the vehicle they were confronted by two men armed with handguns.
Police said that the men held Albadar and Bisnauth at gunpoint and took away his licensed .32 pistol, along with four cell phones and $1.3M and escaped on foot.
Investigations are in progress.
