Three Ann’s Grove, East Coast Demerara men are dead after the mining pit they were working in at Aranka, caved in this morning.
Confirmed dead are Devon Williams, Deonarine Singh and Elson Singh.
Stabroek News understands that the mishap occurred around 11 am in Aranka in the Cuyuni/Mazaruni area.
One of Williams’s relatives, when contacted, said that the details of what transpired are sketchy.
