The police say they are investigating the murder of Shondella Samuels, 14 years, of Plastic City Squatting Area, Vreed-en-Hoop, WCD, which occurred at about 2045h. today.
Investigations have revealed that Samuels was allegedly fatally stabbed by her step-father during a family misunderstanding. Her mother is reported to have been wounded to her left hand during the incident.
The suspect is not yet arrested.
