Vendor accused of abusive language, disorderly conduct at police station

A vendor was placed on bail yesterday after denying using abusive language and behaving disorderly at the East La Penitence Police Station.

It is alleged that Osafo Stewart of 275 Freeman Street, East La Penitence, made use of abusive language to Woman Constable Harry and behaved disorderly at the station on November 16.

Stewart was granted $10,000 on each of the two charges by Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. The proceedings will continue on November 28 in Court One.
