The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Eldon Sampson, 25 years, of Craig, EBD, who was found with multiple injuries on the roadway at Samantha Point, Grove, EBD, at about 1045h. today. He was pronounced DOA at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, EBD.
The police say that a bag containing $50,000, a cell phone and a laptop computer that were reported stolen earlier from a female resident were recovered by the police, along with a bicycle and a knife.
Sampson had recently been released from prison after serving a sentence for robbery under arms, police say.
