The Guyana Defence Force Cessna 206 today, crashed upon landing at Camp Jaguar at New River at 1350hours. None of the persons on board was injured, a statement from the GDF said this afternoon. It provided no information on the state of the aircraft.
A Board of Inquiry (BOI) into the incident has been mandated, and the BOI team is travelling to the location tomorrow. Further details will be provided on the completion of the BOI, the GDF said.
