At about 2220h. last night, police say that Sunil Ramsundar, 39 years, of Patentia, WBD, was involved in an argument with another man at Patentia, during which he was stabbed about his body.
He was taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Meanwhile, at about 2345h. on Wednesday, police say that miner Devon Fraser, 26 years, of Golden Fleece, WCB, was involved in an altercation with another man at Konawaruk, Potaro, during which he was stabbed about his body.
The other man also suffered injuries and they were both admitted to the GPHC, where Fraser succumbed at about 0130h. today.
The suspect is under guard at the GPHC as the investigation continues.
