The Rubis gas station in Bel Air was robbed last evening with bandits escaping with an undisclosed amount of money.
At approximately 20:30hrs, four men corralled workers and customers in the convenience store before relieving them of cells phones as well as cash.
Stabroek News understands that at least one of the men was carrying a hand gun which he brandished at attendants as well as customers. Stabroek News was told that the robbery occurred very quickly with the bandits jumping into an awaiting car. No one was hurt during the incident.
The gas station has been a target for robbers in the past.
